Following an extensive and diversified career in corporate, government, and international affairs, I have re-established a focus on and commitment to public service. My most recent career efforts and passion for public service have been devoted to a combination of trial court and administrative services in the public sector and the field of substance use disorder services working with substance-involved client populations and court-involved effected populations.
- Draw upon significant previous experience and expertise as an advisor to world-class companies and organizations in the U.S. and abroad, with a focus on the effective management of regulatory, legal, and legislative/policy matters; global business development; and complex business transactions/ventures. Served as a versatile resource to C-level executives, boards of directors, entrepreneurs, investors, high net worth individuals/families, and other stakeholders.

Gosnold Behavioral Health
2020-2021 - Recovery Manager, Emergency Departments - Falmouth, MA
- Contracted on behalf of Gosnold, an award-winning and nationally accredited addiction and mental health treatment program, to work within the emergency rooms of Cape Cod Healthcare Hospitals in Falmouth and Hyannis, MA and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth, MA as an integral part of a first responder team with ER patients presenting with substance use disorders.
- Formulated and monitored recovery plans for patients in very early recovery from addictions and placed individuals in the appropriate level of recovery settings, including residential and outpatient services.
- Completed licensing requirements to become a Massachusetts Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC).
Herren Wellness
2018-2020 - Wellness Associate - Seekonk, MA
- Supported the mission and focus of a holistic residential substance use, health and wellness treatment center for men and women founded by former NBA basketball player, Chris Herren.
- Collaborated on and implemented treatment activities, strategies, and wellness recovery support for a co-ed residential treatment facility.
- Completed the training for the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) “Recovery Coach Academy” certification.

- Experience with criminal defense representation accepting assignments with the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS).

1988–2004 - Director of Public Policy: New England - Boston, MA
- Promoted to lead development and implementation of public affairs initiatives supporting New England and the Mid-Atlantic region following the merger of Bank of America and FleetBoston Financial.
- Designed and launched communications programs, drawing in line-of-business heads and key corporate administrative executives while providing an open crisis-management forum.

Democratic National Convention (2004) Host Committee
2002–2006 - Treasurer - Boston, MA
- Recruited by then Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and then U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy to serve as the Host Committee Treasurer for a 501(c)(3) organization with financial oversight of a $58MM budget. The host committee concluded its activities with an unprecedented surplus of $6.4MM which was then awarded to a large collective of eligible community groups and other not-for- profit organizations in the Greater Boston area.
Gentleman’s Partnership
2004–2006 - Founding Member/Public Relations Head - Newburyport, MA
- Partnered in the establishment of a nonprofit organization focused on raising awareness and education for the prevention of domestic abuse, raising $1.2MM in funding for the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center, Inc.

- Elected four times to consecutive two-year terms as a citywide office holder for a community of 42,000 people.
